Very good at explaining, putting us at ease and also not rushing into unnecessary procedures

My son has spent two years suffering with Encopresis and we've tried five different medical professionals without success. But within five minutes Dr Hyer had diagnosed the problem and got my son on the road to recovery. Within a week, there was a marked improvement and my son is now the happiest and most proud I have ever seen him. I would describe Dr Hyer as a medical maverick - he goes out of his way to help the patient, even if that means bending the rules a little bit. He engages brilliantly with children and does what the family need - not what the system prescribes. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has transformed our family life and given my son back his dignity.

Dr Hyer is the best doctor. He cared for my son throughout his treatment for Leukemia. He was there for my son and for our family throughout. My son was only 5 years old and obviously not fond of doctors - but he developed a trusting relationship with Dr Hyer. As parents, we completely trusted Dr Hyer. Dr Hyer also saw my other two children for allergies and ear issues in his private clinic. To this day, I am grateful that Dr Hyer was there for us through very difficult years. When I met Dr Hyer for the first time, one of his staff told me 'if my child was sick, I would want my child to be in Dr Hyer's hands'. I agree and would tell the same to any parent whose child had to consult with Dr Hyer.

My daughter and I have 100% faith in Dr Hyer. My daughter was diagnosed with severe colitis at age 13. She was sent to Chelsea & Westminster. He set up a management plan for her and since has been doing very well. Of course colitis is one of those illnesses that has its ups and its down times and Dr Hyer has been there for us all the way. She is now 16. Dr Hyer is caring, gives brilliant advice, is always patient, always talks to my daughter, always listens and is compassionate. Dr Hyer is worth more than 5 stars. He is an absolute "Diamond".
